Realistically if the Ravens lose next week and the Steelers lose out, the Browns could take the AFC North with a win-out. I don’t think they’d make it past the Divisional but it would still be a mighty improvement.

Big year for the Browns, but so is next year. The NFL has become a preparation and personelle league. In other words they know what's coming and change schemes and players instead of just letting the guys react and play. Therefore the first year after there has been a lot of film on a guy is a key year. Baker's style will be analysed to death this off season, especially by divisional opponents. For example Jimmy G in SF played OK in the two or three games until he got injured but nothing like the 5 or 6 games late in 2017 that made him a multi-millionaire . Film study was undoubtedly part of that as Brady won't even usually give up a play in the victory formation.
So Cleveland needs to come up with new stuff. Some Patrick Mahomes type look away passes wouldn't hurt.
