Don't you want to make your point as quickly and decisively as a fencing lunge?
Is this an ad-hominem attack on Chris?

Heck no. I'm simply saying she/he should make her/his point straight away, then back it up with support stuff. I could but won't wade through it all, and it's been three threads now that she/he's done this.

The point was merely somewhat interesting history. No more.

I think Lummy would complain if his ice cream were too cold.

That was an interesting bit of history, thanks!

Like I said, I could wade through that slop but choose not to, and the reason is that I insist that such a pretentious poster establish a position or some sort. That I can obliterate for its pretentiousness. Else just junk not worth reading but attracts some here like flies.

I found it very interesting Chris, and if ppl spent more time posting interesting historical stuff, and less time attacking each other here, this would be a better place. I like history, and when ppl older than me tell me that I will see things they never will - I remind them that they have seen things I can only read about. Post more stuff like that - I think it's awesome!

    Lol
Whoever criticizes capitalism, while approving immigration, whose working class is its first victim, had better shut up. Whoever criticizes immigration, while remaining silent about capitalism, should do the same.

Thanks. @Chris - I enjoy the history posts.

Yes, how customs are tied to technology.
