Victim-blaming of men who experience Domestic Violence.

In 2018, when a woman claims to be a victim of any abuse, the common mantra is to "believe the victim". Victim-blaming is rightly considered evil and monstrous.

Unfortunately, male victims of domestic violence are commonly disbelieved and presumed to be abusers. According to a federally funded DV Victims agency ,"The great majority of men who claim to be victims are abusers themselves." Australian Victim services have a policy of treating men who claim to be victims as suspected abusers. Most male victims of family violence who seek help report being treated as suspected abusers.

Of course many men can attest that they had been happily married for decades, but over a million men in USA are trapped in abusive relationships. In addition to abuse they experience severe discrimination to which most others can not relate.

The way Modern Western Society treats male victims of Domestic Violence makes our society far more sexist and barbaric then any Society in the Developing World.

I do too, trust me on that but the movement failed massively.

In part because I think radical feminists demonize men. I'm highly insulted, when someone lumps me into a rapist/abuser category simply because I have balls, just like I'm highly insulted when I'm told I'm privileged because I'm white or I owe someone reparations for a travesty they did not experience nor was I responsible for.

All of these things are cultural power grabs, or attempts at them. That's what 8 years of Bammy brought us, that sense of entitlement, deserved or not, but as long as you are not a white male it's yours to have.

And that's how a total dirtbag like Trump gets elected, because white males like me (and I didn't vote for him lol) are kind of tired of it.

Men who claim abuse are not only not believed but are ridiculed. Men being abused? Don't be silly. That the way it is. I don't see it changing any time soon.
