Then why complain? Capitalism generates by far the most wealth for the most people.

Yes. Under capitalism man exploits man. Under socialism, it is the other way around.

    The saying is wrong.

Like chicken farming is comparable to wild whale populations?

Look, I know you're completely out of it and only the hard pressed RW hacks take you seriously but for what it's worth you really don't have a clue.

I know that Chairman Mao analogy sailed past you because you're not that smart. 20m Chinese people died when sparrows (one of the 4 "pests") were eradicated in China because the communist Chinese were too foolish to understand that sparrows are grain pest predators and grain pests multiplied tremendously and there was a famine.

The point being that the balance is delicate and old fools like you and Mao are incapable of understanding that, you're just focused on the handful of things you can understand.

Yet capitalism has raised the lives of more than anything else.

They decreased overall mercury emissions. Did your talking points authors neglect to tell you that? The electricity saved by the bulbs meant less mercury emitted by burning coal, so less mercury overall.

Well thank god for LED's I have them in every single socket in my home. I had not liked that those bulbs had mercury in them either I felt it was a hazard to the environment, as well as a hazard to your health when you accidently break one. Dang I hate that, it happened on more than one occasion. But you also have a really good point on it saving electricity. I mean it saved a lot, there is no arguing your point. I can see what you are saying, and I agree.

But it is also true that the bulbs were also bad for the environment.
We are all brothers and sisters in humanity. We are all made from the same dust of stars. We cannot be separated because all life is interconnected.
