post #7 is the most absurd post you have written. It's just ridiculous. You lost me when you said the parents felt "bad" about eating their child.

We have cleaned up the worst of our polluted water. In time we will have cleaned it all up. We will never run out of potable water. Ever see an ocean?

Want me to post them, or are you satisfied just wagging your shame finger at Americans, to which group I belong, like you always do? My list is long but it is exclusive to China, so ....

As a bonus, I can post another list of vids of environmental crises exclusive to Japan. They too are very, very, very, very serious. And another list of vids of serious environmental issues exclusive to Korea. Another list exclusive to India, where everything they touch seems to turn to crap. Another list of environmental issues exclusive to Russia, some of which date back to the Soviet era before you were born. Another list exclusive to Eastern Europe. Another exclusive to Western Europe, and so forth.

So, your point of shaming the US for its list is lost. Totally. What, then, is your point?
No, the hate America crowd just want to blame us and move on. They forget I'm old enough to have seen real pollution; to have seen smog that stopped you from seeing from one corner to another. Water that took the paint of of houses.

I'm old enough to know they are using arguments that are no longer valid.

    That's great.

Sell that story to the west and southwest where water is restricted and being fought over.

Desalination. It costs a lot. We could cut money from programs for the slackers in society so that the producers in society have all of the fresh water they could ever need.

    Agreed.

Or instead of building a stupid wall maybe use that for this kind of infrastructure.

Either way desalination isn't a viable or practical option right now.

The problem isn't running out of potable water, rather, it's a problem of redistribution (double entendre intended).

That's ok, if some poor schmuk gets sick off of something like this, the entity responsible will send a check of 5k to the victim. Justice. Best system money can buy.
