Elizabeth Warren makes big move toward 2020 presidential run

Big Chief Warren makes big move toward 2020 presidential run

Big Chief has started an exploratory committee for the 2020 campaign. I assume she and her staff will conduct extensive polling and decide whether they should run or not.

Sen. Elizabeth Warren on Monday took the first major step toward launching a widely anticipated campaign for the presidency, hoping her reputation as a populist fighter can help her navigate a Democratic field that could include nearly two dozen candidates.

ďNo matter what our differences, most of us want the same thing,Ē the 69-year-old Massachusetts Democrat said in a video that highlights her familyís history in Oklahoma. ďTo be able to work hard, play by the same set of rules and take care of the people we love. Thatís what Iím fighting for and thatís why today Iím launching an exploratory committee for president.Ē

Is anyone surprised that she is going to run? I doubt that she has much of a chance. I don't believe that the Democrats in general don't have much of a chance if they continue this move to the hard left.

When Joe Biden is considered the centrist in the party, you know you are in trouble.

I don't think this is big news, she was pretty much grooming herself for this for a while. I just wonder about the timing. Her ass still has to be blistered after the spanking Trump laid on her a month or two back.

No democrat has emerged to be a serious contender in 2020.

Obviously that is going to change next year. I used to think that Corey Booker was going to be their front runner, but he exposed himself to be a blithering idiot during the Kavanaugh fiasco.

Warren very well well could be their nominee.

I don't think the Democrats have any potential candidate who can stop this drift toward socialism.

She likely wouldn't fair any better than Mondale did.

Like I said, the Democrats have gone too far to the left.

So could Jesus, but I'm not waiting up nights.

She's just looking to hoover up some bucks.

    She has zero chance.

No, Jesus Christ could never be the Democratic nominee. Elizabeth Warren is a realistic pick for the Democrats. She was the preferred choice for many Democrats in 2016.
