Lol, wow, you are even more clueless than I thought.
You have a point...it's part of the reason Hillary lost.

While traditional white middle America have legitimate concerns, they also have painted themselves as the ultimate victims that they are not.

It's true that the Dems largely ignored the real plight of middle America, but it's also true that many of the Trump supporters were and are deluded in their belief that Trump will help them and that their problems are due to Dems, illegal immigrants, etc...

Trump exploited the Dems failure and exploited the fears of many. His election wasn't some groundswell of the majority.

It's ironic that you chastise me for my probably innacurate generalization, when you say "typical liberal mindset", don't you think?

    OK shrug.

    Lol
Whoever criticizes capitalism, while approving immigration, whose working class is its first victim, had better shut up. Whoever criticizes immigration, while remaining silent about capitalism, should do the same.

But yours is the typical liberal mindset.

It wasn't fear but more like loathing where liberalism was taking us.

It speaks more to the ingrained nativity, paranoia, fear and ignorance of a portion of the electorate than a cultural shift. Ironically the Trump adherents long for a bygone era and cry for the country to be made "great again"...great again like when the country was run by a political elite who knew what they were doing.

Trumps election wasn't a refutation of the so called ruling class...it was an illustration of how susceptible some are to the politics of fear and how the electoral college system is flawed.
    1. You should pay VDH more attention.

    2. The EC is not flawed. It works as intended.
