The will of the majority is not the "law" in the US. So what does society owe to lazy people?

    And you do love tyranny.

I recommend you move to one of those better countries.
Call your state legislators and insist they approve the Article V convention of States to propose amendments.

I pledge allegiance to the Constitution as written and understood by this nation's founders, and to the Republic it created, an indivisible union of sovereign States, with liberty and justice for all.

In my opinion, all Humans deserve food, shelter, and medical care of reasonable quality. But my opinion has no weight in US Politics -- I am not a politician or a person of importance.

In USA both The Majority and Politicians have made a decision. In many nations the People and Government made different decisions.

It is a hard sell to support lazy people for life. You wouldn't even require work?

You love tyranny and theft. What else is there to discuss?

I have no political influence. In modern USA, taxpayers would not allow the government to expand the Welfare.

But in an abstract ideal, Universal Income is a great idea. For instance, in 30 years most jobs may be done by robots and computers. Then the majority of people will receive income without work.

But the next society of the social order of Eternal welfare is that there is joy as families create gardens together. As they are part of the governing body of where as the next chapter will not be the same as the 5 ages past.

They think they can pass by the 26th chapter of Leviticus? (Of who would not listen?)

You are not the only one who believes this. In my opinion, everyone who believes we will see the end of work is a bit of a kook. And that is okay.

I could go for UBI assuming all other government assistance disappears.
