In my opinion, all Humans deserve food, shelter, and medical care of reasonable quality. But my opinion has no weight in US Politics -- I am not a politician or a person of importance.

I think that about covers it.
I have no political influence. In modern USA, taxpayers would not allow the government to expand the Welfare.
But in an abstract ideal, Universal Income is a great idea. For instance, in 30 years most jobs may be done by robots and computers. Then the majority of people will receive income without work.
But the next society of the social order of Eternal welfare is that there is joy as families create gardens together. As they are part of the governing body of where as the next chapter will not be the same as the 5 ages past.
They think they can pass by the 26th chapter of Leviticus? (Of who would not listen?)
