When the Russian campaign began , they did more damage to ISIS in two weeks than the US did in two and a half years......can anyone explain why ?

The explanation is that you don't know the facts. Initially the Russian focus was on the "moderate" rebels who were attacking Assad. The Russians tore them up pretty good. Then Russia shifted to ISIL elements. In the meantime the US was assisting local militias and the Kurds in attacking ISIL forces.

If you want to try to compare US and Russia effects on ISIL, fine. But we can't make a blanket statement such as yours.

You made a silly argument. It happened to be a useful counter.

The only distinction between "moderate" and "extremist" rebels , is , the "Moderates" were the ones armed and bankrolled by US , Saudi Arabia and Israel ......which is why the US coalition bombed empty desert space instead of ISIS......even after seven year of a failed attempt at regime change , the only targets The US coalition hit are Syrian citizens (mainly civilians women and children .......and , sorry buddy . but the undeniable facts are on my side........how the hell can any Americans at home get the facts at all , considering the overwhelming amount of fake news you guys are fed continually 24/7.

If you were genuinely concerned about what's happening in Syria and other parts of the middle east , you would want to know why America ( or Australia , or any other western country)is there in the first place....there's only two major reasons.......oil and oil........been happening since WW11 .....you need your country back , man.

You only think you do , because you've been told by con-job media . How about Iraq , just over the border ? .....how about the the obliteration of Libya ? ....How about the current sanction against Iran ? .....all totally unrelated events ? nothing to do with corporate oil and resource grabs.....add to that , the need for these wars so the corporate military/industrial companies can sell $#@!loads of their hardware , while the overwhelming majority of US citizens don't get to share in the profits. The whole world knows this.....it's fact , and it cannot be denied . Do you really believe these events were to help the people of these countries ? How about the fully documented proposal for a pipeline from Iran through Iraq , Syria ,Qatar , Turkey and through to Europe ......and that's just the middle east . Can you explain why Nicholas Maduro is also declared an evil dictator , and a danger to the people of Venezuela.
