We don't need the wall, Mexico is booming!

I have heard a lot of people in this forum talk about how we need to build the wall. They are constantly saying how the Mexicans are invading us. I want to set some things straight that many of you might not be aware of. I believe trump is fooling his base just to keep them cheerleading for him, he is using the wall to do it. https://www.nbcnews.com/nightly-news...-1007177795804

You should know that there are more Mexicans leaving America than are immigrating. http://www.pewhispanic.org/2015/11/1...ng-to-the-u-s/ This began many years ago it started under Obama. You should know that Obama was the toughest president on Immigration in US History. http://immigrationimpact.com/2017/01...y-immigration/ Many are not aware of this but Mexico is one of the strongest economies in the world, It takes #15 on the list. https://www.investopedia.com/insight...top-economies/ They are up and coming. They are being hailed as the new china. https://www.bing.com/videos/search?q...864D&FORM=VIRE This is the real reason that they do not need to come here anymore. Actually Mexico has a worker shortage. https://www.upi.com/Mexican-state-sa...4031541522411/ This is the reason that Mexico offered the people from Honduras to stay, because they needed them for their labor. Mexico no longer needs us, for our jobs.

Only a small majority of the people trying to cross our border are Mexicans, they are mostly the Hondurans, running from terror. Mexicans are leaving the US in droves. All we have to offer them is to work hard labor in the fields, and do the work no one else will do. They can get better jobs in Mexico working for tech companies, for better wages. https://www.wework.com/creator/city-...ing-3-reasons/

trump is fully aware of the problem. Our crops are rotting in the fields because we have no workers https://www.tri-cityherald.com/latest-news/article215518595.html . Many other industries are suffering due to the lack of migrant workers. https://www.baltimoresun.com/news/ma...502-story.html Trump is busy pulling the wool over the eyes of his base by screaming loudly about the wall. All the while he is working to try and make the Mexicans come back to our nation for work. https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/...=.248044869ad7 He kicked it off by putting tariffs on Mexico. He figured that if he put tariffs that many businesses would fail and the workers would come here again. But that attempt has all but failed. They just retaliated with their own tarrifs. https://www.vox.com/world/2018/6/6/1...ds-trump-trade

But we are benefiting from one another. https://www.forbes.com/sites/themexi.../#571ad3b47768 Because Mexico is buying a lot from us now. They are up and coming. They are the new china. https://www.wealthdaily.com/articles...new-china/3694 You can throw out the window everything you thought that you knew about Mexico and the border.

America is no longer the only leader, we are not the only land of milk and honey, the only land of opportunity. People don't need to come here for that anymore. All of the people screaming about Mexicans invading our nation are just not aware of the real facts.
We are all brothers and sisters in humanity. We are all made from the same dust of stars. We cannot be separated because all life is interconnected.

I'm sorry.. we should just ignore Border Patrol and their input on this? These crops rotting in the fields because no workers? Not buying it. How did they get planted in the first place?

Other things, too. Stop saying Mexicans. We are worried about the influx of ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS. How that translates to only Mexicans in minds is something those minds will have to answer for themselves.
    You are wrong about police.

My personal opinion is we dont need a wall. I want one because of course I want more " stuff". But...a good alternative would be a policy of " if you are trying to cross the border you will be shot, repeatedly"

Draft dodger and tax cheat Donnie John uses the wall to pacify his base, humans at their core are territorial, it is contained in our genetic makeup and exists in all primates. Borders defend the homeland from other primates, making Trump snowflakes aware isn't going to help for at base they still follow their evolutionary history.

I want a wall that will rival the Great Wall in China -- one you can see from the moon!

    How cool would that be?

This is not just about Mexicans, anyone who thinks so is a simpleton. And Mexico is not "booming", get real. Mexico is a third world country that is overrun with drug cartels.

Was the "caravan" Mexican? Ever heard of "OTM's"? You should look it up, you might actually learn something. Nah, who am I kidding.

From strawberries to apples, a wave of agriculture robotics may ease the farm labor crunch

Some farmers are responding to the worsening farm labor shortage by turning to automated harvesting equipment and other advanced technology that perform tasks such as pruning, seeding and weeding.

Robotic harvesting vehicles are being tested in Florida and California to pick strawberries and replace labor-intensive tasks normally performed by dozens of farm workers. Also, robotic machinery is being tested to harvest apples and other crops, and efforts are underway to develop small agriculture field robots that can attack weeds or take care of other farm work.

Large farming companies are helping to champion the robotic solutions by sometimes becoming strategic investors in the technology firms and by participating in testing of the next-generation farm equipment. It comes as advancements in processor speeds also have paved the way for robotics to become more practical and cost effective.
“We’re seeing more and more of a move towards just technology in general, whether it’s robotics or mechanization,” said wine grape grower Ryan Jacobsen, CEO of the Fresno County Farm Bureau. “We’ve seen some incredible improvements there, and for us to remain competitive in California just because of so many areas of cost and the lack of needed individuals to help us bring in the harvest we’re going to have to rely upon this technology.”
