The beauty of freedom is that anyone who wishes to leave is free to do so. Of course, they must receive permission from the country they wish to run away to, as countries don't generally allow anyone to just walk across their borders unimpeded.

I think that a lot of people lack perspective and maturity when it comes to the idea of migrating and the idea of what is actually outside of the United States. You can't visit Canada and understand what it is like to live there, for example. Visiting doesn't help inform you of what might be beneficial like tax laws or health insurance coverage.

Actually, I was back to Canada for Christmas and it was under $1/litre for the first time... since I was... God, I don't even know. It was shocking.

Still cheaper in the US when you do the math.
