You can't be unique and equal. That's a contradiction.
You err. We are unique individuals. We are equal before the law. Do you understand the difference?

The other contradiction is you say rights are individual but this accrues by law. That law is the law of the people.
We have individual rights because we are individuals. Rights do not accrue by law. Under a good government, our rights are protected by laws. There is no contradiction.

We are unique individuals. We are equal before the law.
    If we're unique we're different.

We have individual rights because we are individuals.
    Circular.

Rights do not accrue by law.
Then be careful what you post as that is what you posted.

Yes. The State can not take your property without due process.
Sure they can, eminant domain. The state can basically do whatever they want to you, they can take your property, they can falsely imprison you, agents of the state can assault and even kill you, etc. The founders were on the right path, but in the end, they ultimately failed. Sadly

The government must provide due process when exercising eminent domain.

It's difficult to explain because everyone uses the same language.

There's a good movie on Netflix, "Cathedral of the Sea." La catedral del mar. Not real high-quality cinematography or acting but great story. In it you see a good picture of life during the early medieval period. You are defined by the society, the people and place you live in. In fact, by multiple layers of class, guild, church, and monarchy. Rights accrue by your belonging to these groups. In one scene, the rights of a guild member, the guild of stone carriers from quary to church being built, are stripped because he failed to marry and have children. In another scene a kid tries to stop a theif stealing from the church, the king's guard decides to arrest the kid but the church steps in and says this is our jurisdiction and we will decide. Seeral tidmes the people decide to go to war for the king. The amazing thing is the monarchy depends on the people and their social hierarchy, not like it is today where everything depends on the state and social hierarchies are all but gone as a defense between the people and the state.

I'll add that to my list. Thanks.

If they want your property, they'll ultimately take it, and they'll reimburse you with whatever compensation they deem "fair"

We are unique individuals. We are equal before the law.

Granted. And irrelevant to equality before the law.

This is a remarkably simple and basic idea. I am surprised you are unaware of it.
