Underlined: that is funny. I suspect they used Adobe's redaction tool and forgot to finalize it. Or if it is hard copy they went old school and used a black Sharpie one just one side of the document and putting it up to the light - you can read the redactions.

So if Manafort shared polling data with Russians that would perhaps open him up to a civil law suit from whoever owned the polling data- assuming it was never made public. A possible violation of the trade secrets act.

I would not think that polling data would tell the Russians anything that their extensive spy network in the US already figured out. I guess it could be used to confirm what other sources are saying.

1) First of all we don't know if there was a "need to share it", it could have just come up in conversation just like conversation any where. Now if there's evidence that Manafort discussed this data, whether public or internal for the purpose of coordination then there's a possibility of a there there.2) That's a ludicrous statement.
