The Congress gave the President statutory authority to declare a national emergency and to act. There is no legal issue to resolve. This is a political issue. The Congress wrote laws giving the president the authority to act. The Congress can also reverse the President. The court has no role to play. None.

In my opinion, the courts have no role. I hope President Trump will simply disregard them.

This is a political decision. The Congress has the power it needs to reverse the president's claim of a national emergency. If the courts interfere they should be disregarded.
