    I have no experience with divorce lawyers - anecdotally it appears that there are many sharks in that pool, but I have no personal experience. Ambulance chasers, on the other hand, are a scourge.

    All the lawyers I have had to deal with tend to overbill. Corporate clients should institute a bill review system with standards and clear guidelines to control litigation costs.

    All the lawyers I know tend to under bill. Corporate clients should trust their counsel and promptly institute a bill payment system with clear instructions to pay all bills in total to minimize payment lag. Keep in mind who runs interference as corporate clients kill baby seals, destroy the public and steal money from the poor. We know things.... I am not threatening but we do....
