"eternal, omnipresent, omniscient, all-powerful" run into unsolvable problems still I think you're trying to say transcendent.

Do you know where you were before you were born? You'll find it there.

Don't you find it somewhat intriguing that almost every culture that has ever existed has worshiped a Supreme Being? Even those that worship multiple Gods acknowledge one "First Among Equals" The fact that God has many different names is irrelevant. So does oxygen yet regardless of what we call it they all perform the same function.

Ignoring the heathens, God always was. As impossible as that seems, science can't explain where the universe came from.

Philosophy 101 was a long time ago. Yes, if transcendent when applied to deity means beyond physical limitations - I suppose I prefer to simply spell out the attributes, rather than rely on half-remembered philosophy/theology.

Raised Catholic. I still believe we are a genetically engineered product of simian based chromosomes placed on Earth by ETs. Then I woke up...partially.
" I'm old-fashioned. I like two sexes! And another thing, all of a sudden I don't like being married to what is known as a 'new woman'. I want a wife, not a competitor. Competitor! Competitor!" - Spencer Tracy in 'Adam's Rib' (1949)

Art thou every retard among us related to thine uncle or mistress by way of moral or illegitimate rendezvous? Thus, we are one side of the other's coin by luck or pluck. - Jimmyz

God came from man's imagination to be used as a fear tactic by overlords to keep large masses of people in line and to dominate certain sub populations.
