Thread: Where did God come from?

    Where did God come from?

    On the assumption one believes in God. Im trying to understand where God came from ? There are 2000 religions in the world that worship 5000 Gods but im referring to the Christian God...ideas?

    The Christian God is the same as the Jewish God which happens to be the same as the Muslim God. Just an FYI...

    The traditional definition is that He is eternal, omnipresent, omniscient, all-powerful. The implication being that He is beyond reality - beyond time & space - although the content of that statement seems very vague to me. Or @ least very hard to pin down to specifics.
