    Where do you see that?
Ah, The Flag Protection Act of 1989.

What part of *I consider* and *in my opinion* don't you get, Pragerist?

I do appreciate the irony of you presenting a law which was found to be unconstitutional 30 years ago as the standard, though.

We concede that the Government has a legitimate interest in preserving the flag's function as an "incident of sovereignty," though we need not address today the extent to which this interest may justify any laws regulating conduct that would thwart this core function, as might a commercial or like appropriation of the image of the United States flag. Amicus does not, and cannot, explain how a statute that penalizes anyone who knowingly burns, mutilates, or defiles any American flag is designed to advance this asserted interest in maintaining the association between the flag and the Nation.

I see, it's all just your opinion. The Court then opined you're wrong.

You thought it was a law in force, didn't you?

You had no idea it had been found unconstitutional; you just slurped up whatever Google fed you.

I also never said that desecration of the flag should be a crime.

Do you have anything, at all?

    Didn't think so.

LoL, he stepped in that one.

While I personally hate desecration of the flag and would never do so,a law such as this law is just one more victimless "crime" which we don't need and which can be differentially enforced. Let the people handle things like this through disapproval. I mean jailing someone for burning a flag that represents FREEDOM is insane.

Many years ago there was a case where a person was charged with punching someone who was burning a flag. Broke his jaw. The judge found him guilty of misdemeanor assault. And fined him $1.

You're the one who said "What part of *I consider* and *in my opinion* don't you get."

    That's what I was addressing.

    Oops.

    You said it was desecration.

Not even the law said that, thus your opinion was wrong.

That the law is now unconstitutional only supports my case you are wrong.

Agreed. I was posting the law to provide definition of desecration. The Blue Line Flag doesn't.

Oh, my God. Blacks commit more crime. Jesus, are you trying to upset Safety? You know it doesn't have anything to do with numbers.
