Once upon Time Immemorial Jake, Josie, and CC98 were full of youth and energy. Jake was drunk. Josie was drunk. CC98 was sober. Jake went to his dorm room. Josie followed Jake. CC98 was far far away.
Josie turned on Jake's computer and looked at a forum. She was looking for the unfolding story about William the Fool's latest misdeeds. To her amazement she found CC98 whining about discrimination against men. CC98 was whining about many things -- lack of help for male DV victims, longer prison sentences for male offenders, male bashing, and discrimination in divorce. CC98 also mentioned that a romance between a drunk man and a drunk woman may end with incarceration of the men. Jake saw the last statement as an evil omen, but he ignored the warning. CC98 also predicted that discrimination against men will be much worse in the future.
Even though during Time Immemorial the more progressive terms like mansplaining, manspreading, manterrupting, himpathy, #maletears, #menaretrash, and #killallmen were not yet known Josie has learned that men are the Privileged Oppressors. Even though the term incel was unknown, Josie called CC98 a Male Chauvinist Pig.
Jake understood that he can win a favor from Josie by attacking CC98. During Time Immemorial forums were unmoderated, no registry was required, and anyone could fill any name. Jake wrote a message with a threat to CC98 under Alias1. He wrote worse threats under Alias2 and Alias3. His Aliases 4 and 5 argued about how they are planning to capture CC98.
CC98 was seised by great fear. Not knowing about Internet in general and unmoderated forums in particular, he thought that he was about to be captured by a gang of dangerous criminals. CC98 tried apologizing and explaining himself. Jake's Aliases were unrelenting and only Josie played the good gangster.
That evening CC98 talked to a police officer who did not know what Internet is. For several weeks he was in great fear for his life. Jake and Jodie had a brief romance and parted their ways. Jake found a good job, married some other lady and fathered three children. Jake fondly remembered his youthful days.
Jake went on to live his life happily. But not Happily Ever After. Jake was drunk. Josie was drunk. What was 20 years ago is unprovable, but #believeher. Almost overnight Jake was fired and blacklisted. His wife divorced him. He lost all his property. He was in debt and owing child support. Jake was in utter distress.
How Jake survived by being an Uber driver is beyond description. When Jake got back on his feet, he cried bitter tears. Jake filled his Social Media with bitter complaints about the issues CC98 mentioned and more. Not only some women, but also some men make light of his claims that men are discriminated against. The abuse and derision made Jake's heart heavy. In his great distress Jake saw a glimpse of the Future.
The late Roaring 2020s. The discrimination against men reaches new heights unknown in 2019. Men who derided Jake as a whiner in 2019 have themselves been destroyed by Presumption of Guilt. But as more and more men are speaking up, silencing them is impossible. And as most men understand the undeserved demonization and discrimination they experience the tide begins to turn.
