Fake it until you make it?
my junk is ugly
Maybe, just maybe, he has seen Trump for what he is and wants to protect YOU instead of him.
You'd think a Senator would know better than to poison the well of discussion. It's not very rational.“You seem like a rational person,” Sen. Richard J. Durbin (D-Ill.) told Barr. “Why do you want this job?”

First, Barr has stated he will only see the conclusion of the Mueller investigation. If someone doesn't hit the brakes, Mueller could be at this for the next ten years investigating parking tickets and expired plates. He could claim that it is all part of his on-going investigation. So far, Mueller hasn't connected anything to Trump and nothing he has gotten convictions on had nothing to do with Trump or his campaign. He's been at it for over two years.
Mueller is so desperate, he indicted a non-existent Russian firm. https://www.dailywire.com/news/30556...-ryan-saavedra This might be considered proof that Mueller is creating a crime where none exists.
So far, this fiasco has cost us 40 million plus. That's a nice paycheck for Mueller.
There is no obstruction of justice as Trump hasn't interfered with the investigation in any way. There is no treason because we are not in a declared Congressional State of War with any nation. There is no malfeasance since Trump has followed the letter of the law in all of his actions.
Some claim to want to see Trump's tax returns for the past 30 years. I'm good with that as long as every politician in office or running for office in every nook and cranny across the whole United States is likewise compelled to do so. From the councilman through the entire Congress and Senate. We should also include staffers as well and contractors and their employees who work for the government.
We should also include all lobbyists in that same net. I also think every IRS agent needs to be reviewed in much the same manner.
Every parking violation and speeding ticket needs to be investigated by a select committee. Every arrest and police visit to the home should be brought before this committee. Their families also need the same treatment. Wives, sons, daughter, uncles, aunts and every known business associate.
I agree...everything needs to be an in-depth investigation, not just Trump.
Added:
anybody who claims illegal activity against any politician should be thoroughly investigated. If they cannot prove their allegations or have found to make false allegations, they should be jailed.

I am surprised the left isn't calling Barr stupid or unethical because Trump only nominates that type of person, according to the left.
The DOJ needs someone ethical in charge for a change. The DOJ and FBI intransigence in supplying Congress with requested information for oversight has been a joke under Holder and recently Sessions.
If you think Trump is in a trap you are mistaken.
When Donald Trump said to protest “peacefully”, he meant violence.
When he told protesters to “go home”, he meant stay for an insurrection.
And when he told Brad Raffensperger to implement “whatever the correct legal remedy is”, he meant fraud.
War is peace.
Freedom is slavery.

He didn't fully commit to making the entire report public in some people's opinions.
Personally, I don't see any way it doesn't become public eventually.
He did say that he wouldn't let Rudy et al *correct* it or whatever that drooling $#@!wit said he was going to insist on.
I think, given the obviously limited pool of candidates, that he's as good as we can expect.
