I vote to each their own... My niece has decided to be more "Natural" she does not shave her armpits or legs.... That is on her ..... Personally I am not a fan, if my wife decides to do that I guess I would just stop shaving my face...... I would win that quickly as she is not a fan of beards.

Some things don't need to change. This is one of them. Why women would do this just to prove their men is beyond me.

Gloriously, the first month of the new year has been dubbed "Januhairy," an ongoing celebration on social media encouraging women to grow out and show off their body hair. Now, women are dynamic, radiant, vibrant beings-so, naturally, Januhairy got really colorful.

On Instagram, some women are dying their armpit hair in rainbow shades and calling them #UnicornPits.Girls just wanna have fun.


To give you a bit of context, People reports that one of the originators of the unicorn pit trend is YouTuber Official Rainbow Girl. Back in 2016, she uploaded a tutorial on how to dye your armpit hair a rainbow color, which racked up over 616,000 views.


Thankfully, the beauty industry is catching on. 2018 introduced the onset of forward-thinking beauty brands like Billie, who openly share empowering imagery of women with body hair and have championed the idea of shaving off gender norms for good.


IMO, America could really use this sprinkle of color on social media because things are looking a little dark. Haters are gonna hate, but I'm so here for it.

Do you have any idea what a pain in the ass it is being a woman?

I do not think men would appreciate it if they were expected to shave their legs, armpits, manscape (likely waxed), get their asses waxed (and perhaps bleached), have their eyebrows plucked and shaped, put on copious (and increasing) amounts of make-up and find a way to stop blow dryers and hair straighteners from causing your hair to look like you stuck a fork in an electrical socket. Then you have to exfoliate all of your skin and when you're done ripping your skin off you get to put on some nice, burning toner before slapping on one or more "anti-aging" facial moisturizers and a body moisturizer. GOD FORBID you don't have claws these days that are perfectly manicured. Which brings me to shaving down your feet because you have built up calluses and dry skin which also requires a special moisturizer. Can't forget to slap a charcoal strip or some mutant, "organic" glue to your nose to get rid of those blackheads no one can see.

Beauty standards can really suck. Men have their own rituals (I do not envy face shaving, particularly since it looks itchy, but guess what happens to a shaved/waxed crotch, fellas...) and I understand that most men don't think women need to do 90% of the above, but you have that opinion because we only really start going "native" on you once we think you no longer care if our leg hair is longer than yours in the winter months. Even if you legitimately don't care about 90% of the above, we still think you do and we have been trained to think that we should.

Thankfully, no one cares if I shave at work. I can get away with shaving twice a week.
