I was going to Montreal to do a temple visit there. It was the closest one from where I am at in Vermont.

Apparently if you have any criminal record they will deny you entry, search your car, dive into your phone, and generally do what government does best - make you uncomfortable. All for 3 piddly misdemeanors for mouthing off to American police.

And they're obsessed with asking questions about guns.

Therefore Canada = a fa ggot.

Aren't there places not too far from Malone , NY where you can stroll into Canada? I'm not saying you should by any means. Justy that those borders are not all on rivers either

Evidently from the OP's post, he drove there. So, that means he stopped at a checkpoint. So, that further means that if people want to compare his experience to the southern border, then he could have simply walked across the 1600+ mile border at any point without going to a checkpoint....because otherwise it's apples to oranges.

I was coming back into the US and had a ridiculous amount of beer and wine in my van. I was asked if I had any and I said yeah.
