Why wasn't the thread title "Trump continues to reject Democratic proposals"? That would have been the honest way, the non-GOP-shill way to put it. After all, the Democrats have already put forth proposals that Trump has rejected.

The Democrats hold the better position here. The public doesn't like the wall, the public wants DACA defended, the public is blaming Republicans for the shutdown, and Republicans are getting hammered in the polls. The courts have ruled more in favor of DACA, making its position secure. And the Democrats hold the moral high ground.

What's more, we Democrats know we hold the better position here. Conservative lies and concern trolling aren't fooling anyone. It's their attempt to rally the faithful, to convince them they're not in trouble. By their hysterical tone, we can see it's not working.

Trump showing true leadership. This compromise fair and requiring consideration. His refusal to allow Pelosi to go grand stand in order to gather political points denied. He's not a politician and yet, runs circles politically around the Democrats.

I'd advise Trump to ignore the made up polls and the mamooth attempts at the moral high ground, polls and politics are the reason we have such issues on our borders, a problem we've endured for decades. Trump negotiates, the Dems show their asses. Again. Their response to the fake Buzzfeed report tells you all you need to know.
