we don't know the races of the persons involved. I assumed nothing of the kind. The point I was making is that age has no relationship for violent crime.
I blame the removal of some religious doctrine has been removed or put in a closet, and those who practice the "Shall nots..." have been shamed into not practicing religious doctrine that kept this all in check.

Yah, we can sort through the sociology - if any is required - later. For now, the victim needs a thorough medical exam & forensics, counseling for her & her parents. & the girl is likely going to need long-term counseling - it should be offered, @ least. & the offer should stand for as long as she wants/needs counseling.
I'm surprised that the perps are apparently going to be charged with rape, felony assault & so on - there's not a minimum age for those charges in DE? Or is it @ the DA's discretion?

Nope. But if the perp was white and the victim was black I would prepare for the $#@! storm. Because somehow the unimaginable violation this gal faced would of meant more and got more attention if the race card could be played.
