A new machine with a new mouse

I am ready to buy my next gaming machine.

The heart of the machine will be an Intel 9900K and the Nvidia TRX 2080 ti.

I may buy new speakers. What I am very interested in are gaming mice I can use as a movement disorder disabled person. There are about 15 million Americans who have movement disabilities. My tremors are reasonably well controlled but getting worse. My youngest brother is completely disabled by essential tremors.

So mice or mice alternatives? Do any of you have any experience with them?

I have not tried them. They cause other problems like tennis elbow.

Your only long-term option is voice control. Perhaps you can volunteer to be a beta tester.

I found assistive software. I will try a few.

I was reading a while back of a company in the UK called Special Effects. A UK charity modifies computer game consoles for disabled people. Not sure if this helps but they do great work.

Given the very large number (15 million) who have movement disorders, there is an opportunity. I think software that sits between the mouse and the applications is the right approach. It must be small, very lightweight and work, of course.

I use a high-end mechanical keyboard. It cuts down the number of added letters but does nothing for dropped letters. I pay more than 100 dollars per year for the professional version of Grammarly. It does a reasonably good job of catching the adds and drops.

Example: thi ssis wwhat my typingn looks like whithouth coorrrrection. Thiss isss a typicalll couple of lines.

This has promise to replace a lot of mouse action: https://help.tobii.com/hc/en-us/arti...-does-it-work-
