There are missile silos all over North Korea. They've upteenth pieces of artillery, many that can fire a nuclear warhead many miles into South Korea. Missiles are a separate issue than a nuclear North Korea. Past Presidents have continued to ignore North Korea improving it's long range missile capabilities. Iran has almost mirrored North Korean progress. The primary issue regarding both nations is nuclear capability. We cannot allow present Iranian leadership to possess nuclear weapons. And we cannot sustain normal relations or ensure the safety of our South Korean troops and bases, nor ensure the security of the Pacific Rim to include Guam, South Korea, and Japan as long as North Korea possesses nukes.

Don't take your eyes off the ball, America. The issue here is not missile technology nor their silos, that is a secondary issue with both North Korea and Iran. These two regimes and their nuclear capabilities are the game changers in their respective regions. Trump to date at least has Kim not engaged in further nuclear testing and I think that has some merit. We'll await their next meeting.

I would very much doubt that NK has nuclear tipped artillery.

I'm just trying to help. Detonating nukes means he's an active nuclear weapons program. Firing missiles into the Sea of Japan, testing nuclear weapons underground, Kim hasn't been as blatantly provocative. Rather than threatening to annihilate Guam, he's making arrangements to meet with our American President. The reality has certainly improved, this is a great opportunity to improve on the current threat matrix.

NK continues to make secret ICBM sites, that is a clue they are perhaps not going to denuclearize.

Probably not part of NK's thinking. Trump had good reasons to pull out of those treaties- both Iran and Russia was already violating them. With regards to the agreement with Iran (not treaty), the EU is coming to realize, late, that Trump was right.
