OK, I see that. The IMF made the Juan a reserve currency in 2015. I suppose that I was focused on it being the major currency in the group of reserve currencies.

"This statistic illustrates the renminbi average daily foreign exchange turnover with non-resident deposit-taking corporations in the United Kingdom (UK) from the first quarter of 2015 to the second quarter of 2018. It can be seen that the value of renminbi average daily foreign exchange turnover with non-resident deposit-taking corporations generally increased with some fluctuation during the period under observation, reaching a value of approximately 22.12 billion British pounds as of the second quarter of 2018. @donttread you.....don't have anything more to say on these realities in Venezuela? Socialists in Venezuela did far overspend on welfare programs, did 'fix problems', did fixed prices for just about everything. Took farmlands away from evil profiteers and then abandoned those farmland when they couldn't manage them as well as the private sector, Venezuela then dependent on selling its oil abroad. Like to the US who they had shunned for Cuba and Russia and how did that work out?

Corporations scorned, massive spending to 'fix our own problems', sound familiar, donttread? Cause current realities in Venezuela sounds familiar to me, I've heard it all before from a certain Member here on our pages. Care to comment? DOnttread?

Venezuela's main problem came with the collapse of the oil price....it didn't come from Maduro's policies , or the fact that Venezuela is a socialist system. To make things worse , America just starting kicking them when they were down and defenseless , and yelling out " See , told ya !!!! socialism never works !!! told ya so , blah blah blah !!!!"
