I am suspicious of people who say "it's like deja vu all over again."

I've experienced Deja Vu's before; I think they are pretty cool. C,S,N & Y did a great song about Deja Vu.

Think 3rd party for 2024 folks. Clean up America.

Once I tell you that we agree to disagree there will be no more discussion between us in the thread so please don't waste your time continuing to argue your points because I will not respond.

That would support my half formed theory that it has something to do with our brain filling in the blanks in a similar situation to make it seem the same. But now that you mention it, I have experienced it less with age. But I have some clear recollections of experiencing when I was young which were very strong, very real and correct.
As a small child I stopped with my parents enroute to Florida at their friends house to which I had never been and when I needed to use the restroom I knew exactly where it was. It seemed almost magical to me and the old folks talked of Deja Vu.
Now I think it was based upon simply having been in a similarly constructed home. I even considered the idea then. But I could not recall such a home.

I think we all have a highly developed super intelligent subconscious. Of course some moreso than others and of course differences in how far or well each person taps into it. I think "Deja vu" is possibly our subconcious having tapped into say event A, B has an outcome of C. The outcome may happen in the near or not so near future but said outcome has already played subconcoously therefore presents to us in a concious manner when it actually occurs
