Post New York legalized late-term abortions, and celebrated like it won the Super Bowl

New York legalized late-term abortions, and celebrated like it won the Super Bowl.

To be clear, this has nothing to do with Roe v. Wade. If Roe is reversed by SCOTUS, it will toss it back to the states. So, NY signed legislation to permit itself to do what SCOTUS would say it could do.

It's good they were able to consider the freedom of a woman's body.
“Conscientiously believing that the proper condition of the negro is slavery, or a complete subjection to the white man, and entertaining the belief that the day is not distant when the old Union will be restored with slavery nationally declared to be the proper condition of all of African descent, and in view of the future harmony and progress of all the States of America, I have been induced to issue this address, so that there may be no misunderstanding in the future”

Sure, the freedom to kill a baby. Up to the due date? What about the freedom of the baby's body? Post birth abortion is coming, mark my words. Personally, I think we should go all in:

Abortion up to the 8th grade provided it is in the privacy of the woman's home.

I wonder if the Catholic Church will excommunicate the Governor and all the Catholic legislators that voted for this law ??
It's ok if you disagree with me. I can't force you to be right.

It is worse: the people were clapping to a story that a baby survived an abortion, but was killed anyway. That is first degree murder. And the crowd went wild.

Absolutely, because one thing we know in this life, is that life isn't fair. If possible, think of it as being part of this forum...you may join in with others in breaking the rules, but only one gets sanctioned for doing so, that's life. As long as we are dependent on someone else for our existence, we are at the mercy of that individual.

Well, I won't comment on moderation activity as I might get myself the poster suspended by myself the moderator -- or if I have had numerous violations, perhaps I would have to issue a permanent ban to myself. Nonetheless, if I understand your point correctly, in the big city, because life is unfair we're allowed to kill those dependent on us? Like I said: ...up to the 8th grade....

You expected Safety to show a respect for human life?

I'll agree with the thread start....quite a telling moment for the NY legislature.
