    Pro Bowl and NY Resolutions

So I watched some of the Pro Bowl last night. Now I don't expect full scale hitting getting people hurt for no reason but at times the way the whistle was being blown it looked like touch football. Then the NFC took time earned by defensive all stars away and put offensive players like Barkley out on defense.
IMO, the Pro Bowl no longer serves a purpose. Just name the players to the team and forget the sad excuse for a game.
It did help me make a NY Resolution for 2020 though. Which was not to waste my time watching next years Pro Bowl. One more recent failure for the NF.L.

Absolutely true but it used to suck much less . They even held it after the season so the 12 or so allstars in the SB could be there.

I'll take your word for it.

Agreed. So here's the question . Which sport is poised to become number one? MLB was until it got too boring, scanalized and whinny and obscenely over paid . So the NFL took over. But it appears that their time is almost done as number one. For either the NBA or NHL to take over they would have to massively widen their demographic. I don't think we are ready for soccer to take over.
What if Americans took to back yard games and sandlots for the kids and played as much as we watched? Even if it's horse shoes, we'd be outside.

I don't know. I have wondered if the concussion thing would also kill youth, then HS, then college FB. Maybe Hockey? I've not gone since college, but the potential is there.

There is constantly NFL players being arrested for all kinds of things, I dont bother posting them but the image of the NFL has been blown bigtime. Kneeling for the flag was the dumbest stunt ever pulled, people did NOT buy denigrating the flag was a protest against police, the two dont even jive

It's already killing youth football leagues. Some high schools have dropped football because of the concussion issue.

There's one way you could make concussions less common through two specific equipment changes, but it will never happen.

Eventually, the concussion issue will cause the demise of American football.

    No one denigrated the flag.

The sheep on the right followed their Dear Leader to that conclusion.
