It looks to me like it was meant to represent both a man and womans body. Afterall our inner organs are all the same, except one. I mean that chest is no womans chest. It is a man for sure. Those are pecks. I think he was representing both in one.

The shoulder-waist-hip ratio is feminine. I think she was probably a big, older woman at time of death. Average or smaller sized breasts flatten when laying back on a slab.
