Beautiful music. I'm a Baroque fan.
Whoever criticizes capitalism, while approving immigration, whose working class is its first victim, had better shut up. Whoever criticizes immigration, while remaining silent about capitalism, should do the same.

Except today the music is decidedly low brow.

When I was a teen, I used to babysit for a family of Baroque musicians. Their house was filled with baroque era musical instruments. They were very good. They had quite a few kids ranging in age from late teens to infants. Every kid who was over the age of five could play an instrument. They were totally hippies by the way.

I can sort of see that. Well before my time but there was also a folk and regional music craze in the 1960s.

This was in the mid-seventies, but the parents were definitely 60's era hippies. They managed to carve out a musical niche for themselves. They would all go for walks together, the whole family. They were always dressed 'differently'. They would have been more normal looking in California.
