And that's it isn't it. The Constitution has been reduced to a matter of political convenience by the far right. Now of course, if the Supreme Court backs Trump's emergency wall, then Article I also means nothing because presidents will have sweeping powers to declare anything they want... Is this what Putin's after?

Yeah, that was under Gerald Ford as an answer to Nixon. That has nothing to do with Trump's fake emergency for a vanity wall and that a right-wing Supreme court might give it to him.

I'm not sure where you use to justify that? The truth is the left views the US Constitution as an inconvenience. It's something which must be ignored or misinterpreted when they think it's necessary.

I hope so. Let's agree that all judges and Justices should make rulings based on the plain words of the constitution and the laws as they were understood at the time they were made.
Call your state legislators and insist they approve the Article V convention of States to propose amendments.

No. It means the opposite. Now the Constitution stands a chance of being the supreme law.

If the Congress no longer likes a portion of the law it passed then let the Congress change the law.

Uh, no: clearly I DO understand. The supreme court of the United States is a vehicle of political expediency. A ticket to a hard answer that furthers an agenda. You've said so yourself.
