We will never convince the deniers.

We will never convince the deniers. Giant world wide conspiracy theories are fun and exciting to think about. Slowly changing climates, where the action happens over years or even decades, just can't compete with that for entertainment value.

Then there is the feeling of belonging these socially handicapped tRumpkins get from high-fiving each other every time they think they've scored some sort of point. For instance the all the screeching being done about the polar vortex disruptions last week. According to RWNJ pundits it was proof positive that global.warming was a hoax.

And finally there's the way these things are presented to them, as if they are some kinda privileged information that only a chosen few get to know. It makes them feel (falsely) superior to everyone else, even if only for a few minutes, and that can be a powerful thing if you suffer from low self esteem like the vast majority of these nut-bars do.

You won't convince anyone of anything when you poison the well with labeling and name calling like that.

Yeah, why aren't libs "deniers" where human life is concerned? Evidently, humanity is determined by a change in location of a couple of feet. Is that what science says?

You have to be weak to be fearful of the climate changing. It always has changed. Their have been cycles of change going back hundreds of millions of years.

Climate change kooks are barking in the wind.

I am a denier! Proud of it. BTW the Global Warming thing is not a conspiracy, it is a racket and there is a difference. Researchers, people pushing "green"energy are just taking advantage of the situation to turn a buck.

It is a huge "Racket" more than a Conspiracy.

Either way it is non sense and hurtful to productive society.

The average person isn't interested in footing the cost. Thanks though. It was like 5 degrees here in NY the other day. Don't think any polar ice caps are melting or whatever the $#@!

These religious arguments go nowhere. The climate has always changed. Always. Kooks apparently believe they can stop the climate's variability if they can wrest enough wealth from the people who earned it to fuel ever larger government.

As you can see from the comments, Trumpians are not interested in footing the cost of trying to prevent the only place we can live from being unlivable, but don’t mind footing the cost for a vanity wall....
