He would be giving credibility to the accusations of sexual assault.
You're the one believing what you want to believe based on your partisan stance. There was no evidence which would cause one to believe the accusations were credible. In fact it was just the opposite. All evidence pointed to his innocence. Had he been nominated by Obama and these same accusations were raised, you'de be one of his cheerleaders.
He did admit to drinking too much as a youth.

As in both cases, I await proof.
Yep, K got angry and he had every right to be angry. Those lackluster dems were only concerned about one thing and that was nailing K to the cross.
They attacked his family by outright accusing him without proof, carping at him like a sick chicken at every turn.
Hell, I would have been a lot angrier than he was. Just because he took a more definitive stand with his answers doesn't make him dishonest.
If she was such a good witness, why did she have to keep writing down the changes to her story? What made her more credible a witness?
K did nothing of the kind.

Disagreed, but any teenage or early 20s male of that era who hasn't gotten "handsy" with a girl is either a liar, gay or impotent. Despite the panicked impressions of a 15 year old girl, that's all this really was; just a guy getting handsy with a girl.
The above impression is based on normal human behavior, not politics. You keep accusing me of partisanship, but it's your denials which are partisan.

Well, the statement that nobody is against Fairfax is not true, the VA Democrats have called for him to step down.

All liberals always believe the woman accusing a Republican and the man when he's a liberal. I think in the same political terms you do. I heard a lot about Kavanaugh but not so much about Fairfax.
We have all said there needs to be due process. That's for the crime. I believe he should resign. That's the politics.
Liberals are a clear and present danger to our nation
