Did anyone catch Wind of this Goofball's New Green Deal? She is so far left that there isn't a horizon. Any father left and she could transplant to Mercury. Its so goofy that even Democrats are mocking it.

It's estimated to cost $7T. She wants to pay for it by printing money.

It's far beyond capabilities of converting over.

It includes, at least AOCs version, assuring those who do not wish to work a comfortable and secure life.

Her green deal is a major flop, democrats are running from it.

First of all it Abolishs all engines except electric by 2030, that means charging stations have to be everywhere. Every building would have to retrofitted with new technology and reinsulated and the absurdity goes on from there.
Heres the BIG ONE, it phases out ALL air travel, to do that you would have to build a highspeed rail to EVERYWHERE in the country, plus Hawaii, Alaska and Puerto Rico and maybe the Virgin Islands

It's not going to go anywhere. She's making a huge mistake. She said that incrementalism is not going to work here. She said it needs to start with big steps and basically force it.


By necessity liberalism has always been implemented incrementally. No one will support these big changes liberals want to force onto society. They need to push it in small steps which almost seem harmless. A small step here and a small step there and in a few years you have lost individual freedoms without realizing it was happening. Incrementalism created complacency with the American people.


Liberals used used to be patient. They had their eyes focused on the long term. The new socialist type is not so patient. They want it all now.


That's why it's dangerous to allow them to dominate the politcal process. If they think there's too much resistence to their ideas, they will resort to totalitarian means to get what they want.

You are right, Trump is a populist. He's certainly not a small government conservative. However his version of populism employs some conservative principles when forming economic policy.

In ones personal budget, if your income increases by $100.00 a month, but your monthly spending increases by $300.00 a month it won't be long until you are in financial hot water.

The same principle applies to government. The only difference is, government may try to relieve this debt by printing more money which devalues your money and causes inflation.
