True, but that adds up to a lot of bulk. A large heavy mesh cage might be a good compromise. Determined thieves can break into anything, but it would take them time. Investing in an alarm system would shorten the time available.

True, but consider this. If there is a break in, they would have to breach each safe individually. That would take a lot of time. You may lose the contents of one safe, but you would not be likely to lose the contents of all the safes.
I have 6 long gun safes, 12 pistol safes, one safe for valuables and two for documents. It would take days for someone to clean me out.
