    Do you know what this means?

    GDP=C+I+G+(X-M)

    GDP = private consumption + gross investment + government spending + (exports − imports)

    Government debt spending comes out as a positive- money that has to be paid back at some point. Does that seem odd to you?

    That's funny, the moonbats howled that we were in a recession for all 8 of Bush's years, even though the worst 2 years of his administration was after the democrooks took congress in 2007. It's sad when a slight dip in government spending can harm the over all GDP that much. It indicates the private sector is horribly weak right now. Of course that still has to be Bush's fault. The moonbat messiah's zealots will spin and distort reality everyway possible to keep him from taking any blame for anything.

    You're right about that, he's little more than a foaming at the mouth barking moonbat.

    Truth, I expect a response, even if it is "I have no idea."

    That last sentence is the telling one: The economy has been so gutted and displaced by government that fully 40 percent of the GDP comes from largely wasteful government spending.

    You have to be a real moonbat to see this as a good thing. Of course if said moonbat had actually read the piece, the data are all fully attributed to credible sources, including this one. BTW Moonbatmatters, Mish is in favor of those very liberal ideas of means testing social security and raising the taxable base, both of which are really bad ideas IMO.
