Flat tax? I don't get into that debate; we should not be taxing income at all. Tax consumption. Exempt used items and perhaps food (many states don't tax food as it is).

You grudgingly admit we exist. Do things that exist have a right to defend themselves?

This is not that hard a question.

You are a child. You must be led slowly by the hand.

    Again, removing BS.

That we exist is not in question. That we have rights is not in question. That individual existence entails--well, we do not exist individually, so that abstraction means nothing and entails nothing.

Do things that exist have a right to defend themselves?
We do. We exist, as a people, and do have a right to defend ourselves. The French exist as a people and have a right to defend themselves.

Do I? Yes, as a part of a people, I do have a right to defend myself against attack by another and to justify it before others. We act in a society not alone.

    Even better.
Call your state legislators and insist they approve the Article V convention of States to propose amendments.

    We exist. Finally.

Do things that exist have a right to defend themselves?

    We exist. You "admit it".
We have rights. You "admit it".

We are individuals. You are incapable of admitting it. Are you legion?

I am an individual. I exist. Me. When I die it will be me who dies. When you die who else dies with you?

Do you exist as a people?

    I laugh at this absurdity.

Do you exist, Chris? Do you have a right to defend yourself, Chris? If I came, right now to wherever you are to do you harm do you have the right to defend yourself, Chris? You Chris. Not the French. You. Do you have the right to protect yourself from me notwithstanding what your neighbors think, Chris?

    I await your absurd answer.

    Obvious deliberate word twisting.

Obvious, too, just like you have no argument to support your assertion, you have no counterarguments to what I argue.

    More obvious deliberate word twisting.

I did not argue that I exist as a people. Why do you twist my words into such a stupid strawman? Can you not argue with what I do post?

And then you merely repeat your question:

Do you exist, Chris? Do you have a right to defend yourself, Chris? If I came, right now to wherever you are to do you harm do you have the right to defend yourself, Chris? You Chris. Not the French. You. Do you have the right to protect yourself from me notwithstanding what your neighbors think, Chris?
    So I repeat my answer:

Do I? Yes, as a part of a people, I do have a right to defend myself against attack by another and to justify it before others. We act in a society not alone.
Either circle your wagons and repeat yourself or advance the argument.

I expected an absurd answer. I got it.

Demonstrate the absurdity. For once, just once, post an argument and not just an assertion.

In order to demonstrate absurdity, you need to assume what I said is true and then show, logically, reasonably, with an argument, that it leads to an absurdity. Good luck.

It is self-evident that each of us exists as an individual. Except for you. "We exist, as a people,"
It is self-evident that every living thing has a right of self-defense. Except for you.

You have no rights. A group called "the people" has rights.

    Absurd.
