It depends on the vegetable or fruit. The thinner the skin and more juicy the interior, the more likely that the entire fruit or vegetable has absorbed the chemical. Things like peppers and strawberries are very much prone to absorbing things like Roundup while they are growing. So are leafy greens. If it has a thick skin or is something like onions or garlic, it's not prone to insect predation, so no need to buy organic, but much of our produce is actually full of chemicals. Roundup is just less bad than DDT. The best way to avoid having to use pesticides is to grow plants that insects hate close to those plants that they love and to add plenty of ladybugs to your garden.

Are you serious? Your body doesn't know what to do with unnatural chemicals that don't kill you in the short term. They are stockpiled and show up in the form of cancers, tumors and neurological issues.

Yes. I am serious. Our bodies are far more capable than you are aware. Hydrochloric acid breaks down almost everything. Our western diet is vastly more harmful than Roundup.

    Excerpt:
Monsanto Co. has been sued by thousands of farmers and others who blame their cancers on its massively popular Roundup weedkiller. Now Germany’s Bayer AG, which bought the agriculture giant last year, faces a claim that it deceived home gardeners about Roundup’s impact on their gut bacteria and their health.

The lawsuit, filed Wednesday in federal court in Kansas City, Missouri, claims that labels on products such as Roundup’s Weed & Grass Killer falsely assured consumers that they target an enzyme not found “in people or pets.”

According to the suit -- which names three consumers as plaintiffs seeking unspecified monetary damages and class action status -- Roundup’s active ingredient glyphosate attacks an enzyme also found in the beneficial intestinal bacteria of humans and some animals.

The first lawsuit, I think, was overseas and the court decided to judge this based on anecdotal evidence. Courts are not the place to decide science.
When Donald Trump said to protest “peacefully”, he meant violence.

When he told protesters to “go home”, he meant stay for an insurrection.

And when he told Brad Raffensperger to implement “whatever the correct legal remedy is”, he meant fraud.

    War is peace.

    Freedom is slavery.

    Ignorance is strength.

Your pseudoscience is not harmless. If made into policy, it would kill millions.

In 2015 the Organic Consumers Association (OCA) offered to test anyone who wanted their urine tested for glyphosate, which is the active ingredient in Roundup. Out of the first 131 people to be tested, 93 percent tested positive for this chemical. The International Agency for Research, which is the cancer agency of the World Health Organization, classifies glyphosate as a "probable human carcinogen." In other words, it may be a risk, just like smoking is a risk. If someone has a weak immune system, or a (genetic?) predisposition for cancer they would likely be at greater risk. Not everyone who smokes gets lung disease or cardiovascular disease, but that's not the way science determines risk. They compare smokers with non-smokers. Perhaps more testing will be done with glyphosate. Glyphosate is currently under review and may be banned at some future time. It was banned in El Salvador after thousands of agricultural workers died from chronic kidney disease. They call glyphosate an endocrine-disruption agent.

At least when it comes to cigarettes, we can choose not to smoke and not to take the risk. But when it comes to glyphosate, what choice do we have?
