Around 6,000 people have signed a petition to sell the “useless” state of Montana to Canada for a whopping $1 trillion to “eliminate the national debt” – which is actually well over $22 trillion.

“We have too much debt and Montana is useless. Just tell them it has beavers or something,” reads the Change.org petition. Additional reasons provided by supportive petitioners include the state’s “insignificant population” and their “aesthetic” which some claim isn’t in keeping with the rest of the US.

At the time of the writing of this article, around 6,000 people had signed the petition to sell off Montana. This number makes up just around 0.6 percent of the state’s population of one million.

This is like sucession but in return for paying off 4.5% of our national debt. I want to move to Montana.

Okay I am willing to give them NY and California. They are just as useless as Montana. But Canada Needs to know they will need to implement a lot of welfare programs and that they will have AOC and Maxine Waters as Residents.

Just call the residents refugees and, Canada should take them right in.
