It's too much work to unelect a sitting president , even when he sets spending and debt records. We haven't done it in 26 years and only once in the past 5 regimes . We probably ain't gonna do it in 2020.

my point is, not matter what happens, politicians use whatever to increase spending. It's not hard to figure out. The more politicians put the ordinary people in debt for their decisions and the people accept this bull$#@! from them, the more the people become enslaved to them because they people owe, not them. It's socialism/communism 101.

On one hand you claim to support zero balanced budgeting, but then on the other you say you want targeted cuts. tells me that you aren't serious about reducing debt, let alone getting it under control.

Government need to spend less money. The national debt is now more than 20 trillion dollars. That's mind boggling.

And you do have a side. Yours is the side of big, then bigger government.

You are misrepresenting where I stand. We both agree there is a problem. We disagree on how to fix it. Balanced budgeting means you hold the line at current levels. Some expenditures can be cut as well, in absolute dollar terms. The two aren't mutually exclusive.
