Unless you are active duty overseas. then the children are US citizens like my siblings.

I realize no one cares about the mother, nor do I, but repatriating her means repatriating her child. Once the mother is returned with the child, she has no rights. If she was born in America - lock her up - if she was born elsewhere, revoke her citizenship and deport her.
Weren't her children born in Syria to ISIS fighters? Even her citizenship is in question. Children born to foreign diplomats are not granted automatic citizenship. Her father was a diplomat from Yemen. They say that his daughter was born in New Jersey "months" after he stopped being a diplomat so she technically might have been a U.S. citizen but even with that she denounced her citizenship and advocated for attacks on America and Americans. Doing that can be cause to lose your citizenship anyway. We're not the only country to do that and its has been done to "real" American citizens under prior administrations who have done what she has. I feel for her children but I'm more concerned for American children needing a break.

I was an active duty soldier stationed in Berlin. Our son was born there. We had to apply for US citizenship for our son. He was not automatically granted citizenship as he would have had he been born in a stateside hospital.

The woman who is the subject of this theead had a child born overseas. That child is not automatically an American citizen.

Ah. Maybe my parents filled out a form at Kadena AFB in Okinawa for my siblings and I was unaware. Thanks for the info.

German / American hospital. The only one we used. Citizenship had to be applied for. Like I said, it was basically a paper drill, but if we neglected to do it, he would not have been considered a US citizen.

I just dug out some records. Yes, I had to go to a state department office in our Berlin Brigade HQ building and apply for my son's US citizenship.

This woman's child was born in overseas. I believe she renounced her citizenship when she joined ISIS. That really doesn't matter as the child is not automatically a US citizen anyway.
