You are correct; interestingly enough, Carlson invited this person to join him on his show (or pre-taping in this case) and i'm not sure how thorough his producers were in doing their background research on him. One would think that he'd have been alerted to Bergman's political/economic leanings before starting the interview. I would have loved to have been a fly on the control room wall while this was taking place.

Think 3rd party for 2024 folks. Clean up America.

Once I tell you that we agree to disagree there will be no more discussion between us in the thread so please don't waste your time continuing to argue your points because I will not respond.

I do give Tucker credit for addressing tax loopholes but I bet his CPA knows how to apply them. Other than that the other dude is right. Tucker is just like a ball player , a millionaire funded by billionaires. He's right about the 50's and 60's too although to be fair no body paid the top rates then either.
We do not have a manufacturing economy like we used to but healthcare and education have been laced with job creating regulations. For example we "simplified " medical billing and record keeping with expensive electronic systems but STILL employ more people than it took to do the job the old fashioned cheaper way. There is a reason for that.
Further Tucker shows no class. shocker

You'd think but maybe Tucker thought he could handle him.

Everyone can lose it once in a while, but I generally enjoy his show. I can't watch any other editorial type shows on a regular basis.

Carlson did expose one thing. Every issue on the left can be solved with one single solution. Increase taxes. It doesn't matter what the issue is, it can be solved by increasing existing taxes and creating more new taxes.
