    I think we discussed this before but I kind of felt a little let down by Cline's book. I don't know...I wanted more. More answers, I guess.

    Update to thread: I heard another interview with Cline. He mentioned that civilization collapsed in 1177 BC (actually all civilizations in the Mediterranean region). ~1500 years later, civilization collapsed again (Rome, another Mediterranean based power- Eastern Rome remained another 1000 years).

    SARS-CoV-2 hit ~1500 years after Rome's collapse. Coincidence? Or pattern?

    Note, Cline doesn't think it is a pattern, just interesting trivia.
