It's not the NRA membership that's the issue, it's the NRA promotion of gun ownership and their shilling for gun manufacturers that is seen as a problem. There is certainly a statistical proportion of guns in the hands of criminals that come from gun theft, so the more guns owned in a given city, the more guns that can be stolen and end up in criminal hands.

Perhaps, but they also target kids and teens: https://www.chicagotribune.com/blues...323-story.html

The NRA is the largest firearms safety educator in the world. Yes, they do in fact target kids. They promote the shooting sports and youth firearms safety training.

Do you have a problem with that? If you do, why are you opposed to young people learning about firearms safety?

Everyone knows that all these school shooting mass shootings are being executed by loyal members of the NRA, right?

    The NRA isn't going anywhere.

It's a good thing to educate youngsters on firearm safety.

I was taught about firearms around the age of 8, in our backyard, by my father. I learned what they could do, and I learned to respect that.

Most kids who have accidents with firearms, have never been taught what they are, or what they can do. I believe all kids should be introduced to firearms, take away the mystery and intrigue and we'd likely see accidents go down.
