Well, the gov may see to remove the Sheriffs and put in puppet LEO's that suck up to her. NM needs to form the NM Militia. Neighboring states need to form a 2A Militia as back-up to help NM and and for protection in their states. It is one for all and all for one.

If the state puts them in jail for their 2A rights, then the militia goes to the jail and gives them 5 min to release. If no release then the Militia releases hellfire on them...the jailers die...the militia dies or the prisoners are released...only 3 choices to keeping a free America nowadays.

There is no skin in the game for the dems. They will call in your guns...talk all you want....bullets speak much louder than words.

In the rustbelt we have tons of Class 3 and these gun nuts are just itching to put them to a legit use. From talking with them...killing treasonous traitors is high on their list.

Good luck with your battle....I wish I was down there to lend a hand.

That is exactly the issue. The Sheriffs take an oath to uphold and defend the Constitution of the United States and the Constitution of the State of New Mexico, both of which affirm and protect the right of the citizenry to keep and bear arms. The legislature and Governor are putting forth laws that conflict with those constitutions and their oath of office. They also take an oath to uphold the laws of the State of New Mexico, but they understand the State Constitution overrides other state laws and the US Constitution has primacy over both.

Their duty to the Constitution far outweighs their duty to the legislature.

I chose not to try to explain that to Jet57 because I knew he wouldn't get it.

No, they don't. They can ignore them the same way sanctuary cities enforce only the laws they want to enforce. They would have better things to do.

No, what it is, is that you don't know what you're talking about.

They tell their deputies what to do. They will not tell their deputies to do anything about this. The deputies will be concerned about who can fire who. Got that?

They have a duty to the Constitution first. If a law violates that, it is their responsibility to not enforce it.

She doesn't have that power. Sheriffs in New Mexico can only be removed from office by judicial proceedings.

Well then, you have to prove that. Otherwise you're just ducking.
