You realize that what you are saying is that winning is the only thing. Not whether the winning party is delivering value to the 'people'. The truth is that the terrible twins have not been working for the people for decades. They have become fat, bloated institutions that serve no one but themselves and whoever pays their way into office.


Just as monopolies are bad for a free market, a political system that restricts voter choice to one of two parties that are really both talking heads for certain segments of industry, is no choice at all and if you really scrape away the different paint jobs, they are where it counts the most, the same. You would be hard pressed to find an actual conservative among the Republicans or an actual liberal among the Democrats. They are all neoX plus fringe members who join because third parties have virtually no chance in Hades of overcoming the bar to recognized party status, by design.
