Fast food is getting worse for you

I stopped in at Jack in the Box. I got a sourdough patty melt. It might not have been good for me, but it was good. One every couple of weeks isn't going to hurt anything.

IIRC when I had one of those they coated the slices of sourdough bread with some type of vegetable oil to grill it on the flat-top griddle and the bread was soaked in it. That ruined those for me going forward. I would try one again if they just toasted the bread in a toaster.

For me its the salt content of even a small burger that keeps me away from any fast food joint. I am not supposed to consume more than 1500 mg of sodium in a day. A Chic Fil A sandwich alone has over 1200 mg. Add in the fries and you are way over just for lunch. Since I was forced on a salt free diet in October I have dropped from 215 lbs to 171. I will have to admit one way a salt free diet works is that without salt many foods taste so bland you don't eat very much of it. Low sodium soup for example takes like over boiled water!!

Mine was great. Still one of the best sandwiches I've ever had in a fast food or cheap restaurant is the Grand Slamwich at Denny's. That was awesome.

Denny's has some fabulous sandwiches(or used to)
I like Taco bell! It costs less than most fast food joints and tastes good.
Burger King has a real good deal;

You get 11 chicken nuggets for about $ 1.50 and I order a small fry with it.

Del taco has really good burritos, but they are too far away from me.

I never saw a jack in the box or a in and out, 5 guys just came around here but I hear they arent all that good

Denny's has some great sandwiches. Until the Grand Slamwich came along, the Moons Over Myhamy was my favorite. Taco Bell is awesome. Taco Bell and Jack in the Box.... Excellent.
